Dr. Rafia Naz is the Dean for the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship at the National University of Samoa. She is also the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation at NUS. Dr Naz obtained her PhD from the University of the South Pacific in 2010. Dr Naz has been teaching since 2003 in the fields of management and public administration in a number of universities including the University of South Pacific (Fiji), James Cook University (Singapore) and presently at the National University of Samoa. She has contributed numerous papers in refereed journals and book chapters. She has to her record more than 74 research papers in international refereed journals and conference proceedings. Her current research interests include Entrepreneurship, Public Sector Governance Reform, Smart government/e- government, Knowledge Management, Public Sector Performance, Waste Management, Marketing, Governance and Policy, Organisational Behaviour, and Higher Education/TVET.

Eric Clem Groves is the Project Coordinator at UN Women, Samoa. Prior to this, he was the Manager Planning under the Governance, Policy and Planning division of the National University of Samoa. Eric currently holds a Masters in Development Studies degree and specializes in the history of the National University of Samoa and higher education in developing countries. His wide range of research interests include post-secondary education and training, project management, waste management, renewable energy, inclusive education, policy development and governance.

Faafofoga Peseta-Esau is currently the Senior Project Associate for Markets for Change at UN Women, Samoa. She was formerly the Administrative Assistant in the Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, National University of Samoa. She is also a Master of Development Studies student. She has completed her BA from Wellington and her PG Diploma in Development Studies from NUS.

Falenaoti Juliana Tuiletufuga is a Lecturer in Management in the Department of Management, Tourism and Hospitality. She has completed her BCom from NUS. Her teaching expertise are in the areas of: Management Practice & Management, Organizations and People. She also has a Certificate in Registered Community Nursing from Greenlane Hospital and has worked in the Tourism field for Retzlaff Travel and Tours.

Lupematasila Fa’atō Sila Falaniko is a Lecturer in Accounting, in the Department of Accounting and Economics in the Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, National University of Samoa. He completed his BCom from NUS. His teaching expertise are in the areas of: Introductory Financial Accounting, Introductory Management Accounting and Computerized Accounting System. He is currently pursuing his Post Graduate Diploma in Commerce in the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship at NUS.

Marie Passi-Westerlund is a Lecturer in Accounting, in the Department of Accounting and Economics in the Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, National University of Samoa. She has completed her Diploma in Accounting and BCom from the National University of Samoa.

Michael Yemoh is a Lecturer in Economics, in the Department of Accounting and Economics in the Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, National University of Samoa. He has completed his BSc in Economics from Birkbeck, University of London and his MSc from London South Bank University. His teaching expertise are in the areas of: International Trade, Labor Economics, Managerial Economics and Economics for Developing Countries. His research expertise are in the areas of: Applied Statistics and Econometrics, Financial Econometrics, Financial Institutions and Markets, Regulation, International Finance, Accounting, Economics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Portfolio Management, Principles of Finance, Corporate Law, Corporate Management and Quantitative Techniques.

Muhammed Hakeem Khan is currently a businessman in Samoa and was formerly a Part-time Lecturer in the Faculty of Technical Education, National University of Samoa. He was also the Technical assistant in the Faculty of Technical Education and developed the resource packages for Levels III and IV in Automotive Engineering. He has qualifications in automotive, mechanical services and refrigeration. Prior to joining NUS, Hakeem was an entrepreneur in Fiji. Hakeem has 16 years of experience as an entrepreneur. Hakeem was also the Export Freight Service Manager prior to becoming an  entrepreneur. He has more than 37 research papers to his portfolio and his research expertise are in the areas of Automotive, Refrigeration, Mechanical and Electrical services, Business Management, Occupational Safety and Health &TVET.

Peniamina Muliaina is a Lecturer in Economics, in the Department of Accounting and Economics in the Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, National University of Samoa. He graduated from University of Auckland in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics and Mathematics. He worked as a materials controller for the then Yazaki EDS Samoa Limited from 1996 to 1999 before he was employed as a loans officer for the Development Bank of Samoa (DBS) from 1999 to 2003. Late in 2003 and early 2004, Peniamina was employed as a Mathematics Specialist at the Pacific Centre for Educational Development (PICED) in American Samoa. He has also worked at the Samoa National Provident Fund (SNPF) for ten years as an audit officer, senior auditor and from 2012 to 2014 the assistant investment manager for the Fund’s overseas portfolio. He worked as a part time Economics lecturer from 2008 to 2014 before taking up fulltime lecturing in Economics for the Department of Accounting and Economics in the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, at the National University  of Samoa in 2015.

Rachel Pela Malia Bell is a Marketing Lecturer in Management in the Department of Management, Tourism and Hospitality in the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, National University of Samoa. She has completed her BCom from NUS. Her teaching expertise are in: Marketing and Integrated Marketing Communications. Her research expertise are in: advertising, branding and digital marketing.

Raphael Semel is a Lecturer in the Department of Management, Tourism and Hospitality in the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship, National University of Samoa. Raphael has a Master’s Degree in Education Management
